Outs: Quit Gambling · Effective July 20, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Seth Crowley ("we," "us," "our") governing your use of the Outs mobile application ("Outs," the "app"). By downloading or using Outs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Outs is a self-help tool, not medical care. It does not provide medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and it is not a substitute for professional treatment, counseling, or a licensed provider. Nothing in the app should be relied on as such. If you are in crisis or need help, contact a qualified professional.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Outs. By using the app you confirm that you are 18 or older.

License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Outs for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and to Apple's standard licensed application agreement, which also applies to your use of the app.

Subscriptions and billing

Outs is offered as an auto-renewing subscription. The price, billing period, and any trial or introductory offer are shown at the time of purchase.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Your subscription automatically renews unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.

AI companion

The app includes an AI companion. Its responses are generated automatically, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are for general support and reflection only. Do not rely on it for medical, financial, or legal decisions. Do not share information with it that you would not want processed by a third-party AI service.

Community and user content

If the app includes community features, you are responsible for what you post. You retain ownership of your content, but you grant us a license to store and display it within the app so the feature can function. Do not post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, threatening, or that infringes others' rights, and do not share other people's private information. We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to circumvent security, reverse engineer it except as permitted by law, disrupt its operation, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular outcome for your recovery.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
